Clamp Crane

Clamp Crane is lifting machinery based on double girder overhead crane, matching different clamp fixtures for lifting steel billets, coils and other objects. More used in downstream of steel production line, or warehouse, steel yard, etc. Clamp crane mainly take clamps as load handling device, rated lifting capacity is the sum of the weight of clamp and lifting object.

Clamp crane consists of clamp spreader, bridge frame, trolley and crane traveling mechanism, and the lifting mechanism.
Hoisting mechanism of clamp crane adopts separate transmission system. Lifting and handling steel billets, coils and other objects by the clamp under hook. Clamp spreader including mechanical type and electric type, mechanical clamp uses lever principle, by self-locking without external assistance, you can achieve the billets or coils clamp lock. Electric clamp use electric control system for the opening and closing of clamp, the size of the opening can be freely controlled.

Bridge is the main part and main force component of crane. Bridge is double-girder and double-track structure, consists of main beam, end beam, walkway, railings, ladders and other ancillary metal structures. The main beam is box-shaped structure with sufficient strength, rigidity and overall stability, with reasonable layout of the crane traveling mechanism and electrical equipment to ensure easy movement of persons in the bridge.
Crane traveling mechanism is same with trolley traveling mechanism both is driven by motor via coupling transfers power to reducer and drive the driving wheels, complete back and forth movement in vertical. End wheel installed with rail clearer so as to automatically remove the obstacle of the rail surface during crane traveling, to ensure the safety of the crane.
Lifting mechanism is arranged on the same trolley frame, with separate drives. Hoisting mechanism consists of motor, coupling, brakes, gear motor, reel, pulley blocks, hook group, wire rope and other components. Driven by motor, after gear reduce speed, driving the reel to make the hook lift. Drive layout of hoisting mechanism is compact, easy to maintain, in order to ensure safe and reliable.
