Hydropower Gantry Crane

Hydropower Gantry Crane mounted on the hydropower station crest, used in various large scale water supply and drainage, water conservancy and hydropower engineering and other places. Mainly used for lifting the hydropower station gate to reach the purpose of its open and close, maintenance and repair equipment, cleaning up rivers, etc.

Hydropower Gantry Crane consists of gantry frame, main trolley, slewing hoisting, gantry crane operating mechanism, special spreader, and other safety facilities.
Hydropower Gantry Crane lifting hoisting mechanism is not free hanging weights, but moving or rotating around the gate pillar and down along the gate slot. Especially the large span gate, need to double hanging point lift, using electrical control system to maintain double hanging point synchronization.
Hydropower Gantry Crane with large lifting capacity, generally lifting from 80 to 500 tons, but the working level is low, the span is small, typically is from 8 to 16 m, lifting and traveling speed is low, usually not more than 4 m / min, only used on some fast gate to reach 10-14 m / min.
