Shipbuilding Gantry Crane

Shipbuilding gantry crane has functions of lifting, handling and segmented turning in the air. The hull turning, close operations and other characteristics are particularly prominent. The crane is double girder, has upper and lower double trolley, segmented turn over operation through the two trolleys. There are four tracks in the main beam for the upper and lower trolley traveling.

Shipbuilding gantry crane mainly consists of gantry frame structure, the upper and lower trolley, crane traveling mechanism, electrical equipment and repair use cantilever slewing crane and other components. Maintenance crane mounted on top of the rigid leg, cabin fixed on the rigid leg. The lower trolley can pass through the bottom of the upper trolley, traveling on each of their own track.
Crane traveling power supply use cable drum. Upper and lower trolley use suspension cable pulley device supply power, they are respectively provided on the top surface of the two main beams.
Gantry Frame
Gantry frame structure mainly consists of the main girder, rigid legs, flexible legs, lower cross beams and railing, driver’s cabin, etc.
Shipbuilding gantry crane main girder is double girder, box-type structure, and trapezoidal cross-section; on the top surface of the main girder has four tracks for the upper and lower trolley traveling.

Shipbuilding gantry crane legs: "A"-type, including rigid legs and flexible legs, rigid leg is box-type structure, flexible leg is cylindrical, the legs and main beams are both connected by high strength bolts.

Shipbuilding Gantry Crane Traveling Mechanism
Crane traveling mechanism is composite structure of the balance beams and wheel sets, together with motor, brake, reducer, couplings, wheels and others. Use double rim wheels. Set position correcting device to enable crane traveling gentle and synchronized.

Upper and Lower Treolly
The upper trolley consist of two independent hoisting mechanisms, as well as traveling mechanism, trolley frame and engine room, etc. Two lifting mechanisms symmetrically arranged with dual-type hook, which not only can be used for alone lift, but also used for joint lift. Hoisting mechanism consists of motor, brake, gear box, drum, pulley block, wire rope, hook group and other components. Set up an overhaul crane on the upper trolley, its hoisting range can cover the upper and lower trolley.
The lower trolley consists of an independent main hoisting mechanism and an independent auxiliary hoisting mechanism, as well as traveling mechanism, trolley frame and engine room. Main and auxiliary hook both are single-type.
