Gantry Crane, Bridge Crane Operating Rules

1. Crane foundation and track laying shall comply with the provisions of the factory, track grounding resistance should not be greater than 4Ω.
2. Gantry crane which use cable, should be equipped with cable reels, power distribution box should be set up in the middle of the track.
3. Crane powered by safety slide wire should be marked with distinctive color at both ends of the slide wire, slide wires should be installed with protective railings.
4. The track should be straight, fishplates connected to bolts should not be loose, rail and crane operating range should be no obstructions. Rail clamp of gantry crane should be loosened.
5. Gantry crane, overhead crane key checking items before the operating shall meet the following requirements:
1) Mechanical structure with normal appearance, each connection not loose;
2) Wirerope looks in good condition, line card is firm;
3) Each safety limit device complete and intact.
6. Operating room should stack up board or insulation board, power test pencil should be used to test metal structural parts after power, and to confirm no leakage before operating; up and down the control room should use dedicated ladder.
7. Before operating, should be carried on no-load operation, operating after confirming each agency operating normally, braking reliably, all limit switches sensitive and effective.
8. Before starting, you should indicate an audible signal, object lifting and lowering operations should be smooth and uniform, should tie the rope to prevent swinging when lifting large object, and may not use rapid speed.
9. Lifting flammable, explosive, hazardous and dangerous objects, should be approved by the safety authorities, and should have the appropriate safety measures.
10. The load lifting should not above people and equipment. When crane traveling with no-load, its hook should be more than 2m from the ground.
11. Crane should slow traveling after lifting weights, should not suddenly shift or backwards during traveling. Two cranes should keep 3 ~ 5m distance when traveling at the same time. Do not use one crane to push another one.
12. When crane traveling, both sides of the drive wheels should be synchronized, when find offsets operations should be stopped, only after adjusted the crane continue to traveling.
13. During operation, it is prohibited anyone from one bridge crane cross to another bridge crane.
14. The operator enters from control room to the bridge frame or for the maintenance and repair, there should have automatically cut off the power interlock device or cut off the power in advance.,
15. Open-air operation gantry crane, bridge crane, when confronted with level 6 wind and above, should stop operation and locking rail clamp.
16. Gantry crane, bridge crane main girder deflection exceeds a predetermined value, must be repaired before use. 
17. After operation, gantry crane should be parked in the stop line, with rail clamp locking and raised hook to the upper position; bridge crane trolley should be parked in the middle of the two tracks, hook raised to the upper position . Not hang object on the hook.
18. After operation, the controller should be appropriated to zero, turn off the power, closed and locked door and windows of control room.
